Welcome to Photography Tours (“we”, “our”, or “us”). These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our website and services, including all bookings, tours, and safaris arranged through us. By using our website or making a booking, you agree to these terms.
- About Us
Photography Tours is a South African-based luxury travel provider offering curated safaris and bespoke tours. We specialise in private, guided experiences that showcase the best of South Africa’s landscapes, wildlife and culture.
- Use of Website
By accessing our website, you agree:
- You are over 18 years old or accessing under the supervision of a guardian
- To provide accurate and current information
- Not to use the website for unlawful or fraudulent purposes
We reserve the right to modify or withdraw the site (or any part of it) at any time.
- Booking & Payment/ Booking Process
A booking is confirmed only when:
- We receive your completed booking form
- A deposit is paid and acknowledged
- You receive written confirmation from us
Deposits
- A non-refundable deposit of 30% is required to secure your booking
- Full payment is due 60 days before departure
- Payment Methods: We accept secure online payments via bank transfer, credit card, or an authorised payment processor.
- Pricing
- All prices are in South African Rand (ZAR) unless otherwise stated
- Prices are subject to change based on exchange rates, park fees, or supplier costs
- Once your booking is confirmed, your quoted price is locked in unless you change your itinerary
- Cancellations & Refunds
By the Client:
Cancellations must be submitted in writing.

Note: Travel insurance is compulsory for multi day tours.
- By the Company:
We reserve the right to cancel a tour due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, a full refund or rescheduled tour will be offered.
- Travel Insurance
Travel insurance is mandatory. Your policy must include:
- Comprehensive medical coverage
- Trip cancellation and curtailment
- Emergency evacuation and repatriation
Proof of insurance may be required before departure.
- Health & Fitness
You are responsible for ensuring you are medically fit to travel. We must be notified of any medical conditions, allergies, or dietary requirements at the time of booking.
Some tours may involve walking, climbing into safari vehicles, or remote locations without immediate medical care.
- Liability Disclaimer
Photogra[hy Tours acts as an agent for third-party providers (lodges, guides, transport). While we carefully select our partners, we are not liable for:
- Injury, illness, loss, damage, or delay during your trip
- Changes in itinerary due to weather, political unrest, or natural disasters
We will, however, make reasonable efforts to ensure your safety and comfort throughout.
- Itineraries & Changes
- Itineraries are subject to change due to weather, wildlife conditions, or supplier availability
- We reserve the right to modify routes or accommodations with alternatives of equal or higher quality
- Photographs & Marketing
We may take photos and videos during tours for marketing purposes. You may opt out by notifying us in writing before your tour.
- Intellectual Property
All content on our website – including logos, photos, and text – is the property of Photography Tours or its licensors. You may not use, reproduce, or distribute our content without permission.
- Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes will be handled in South African courts.
